The MANTA M27IAR kit was selected by the U.S.M.C as standard issue on the new M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle. The M27IAR KIT was designed to cover the rails of the Heckler & Koch HK416 variant that was specifically designated by the United States Marine Corps as the “M27” (IAR). The “M27” designation represents a tribute to the 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment which is the unit that devised the original concept of the Infantry Automatic Rifle. The M27IAR kit consists of 1ea. Micro Pocket Switch Holder that allows easy mounting of a pressure pad anywhere on the rail, 2ea. Cross Clips to help manage and route wires, 2ea. Low-Profile Wire Routing Rail Guards that route and manage wires within the rail guard and 1ea. Vertical Grip Sleeve for an optional pressure pad mounting location. All Manta Rail Guards and Wire Management Products provide an incredible tactile feel and will resist the extreme heat generated by sustained or automatic fire. Cover the top rail to eliminate sight picture mirage generated by the heat of the barrel. Heat transfer from the rail to your hand has become a thing of the past with MANTA Rail Guards. The sleeve will also fit over most pistol grips creating an extreme tactile feel. The sleeve fits snugly over a grip converting it into a multifunctional part of the weapon!
