The MANTA M27IAR kit was selected by the U.S.M.C as standard issue on the new M27 Infantry Automatic Rifle. The M27IAR KIT was designed to cover the rails of the Heckler & Koch HK416 variant that was specifically designated by the United States Marine Corps as the “M27” (IAR). The “M27” designation represents a tribute to the 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment which is the unit that devised the original concept of the Infantry Automatic Rifle.
