Developed by the D3O – Delta Three Oscar, the P5s are elbow pads that use revolutionary technology based on non-Newtonian fluid principles.
The anatomically shaped elbow pads are injection-molded from advanced polymers that mimic the principles of non-Newtonian fluids. This means that the material viscosity depends on the applied force, resulting in the product’s unique softness while simultaneously providing superior shock and blunt trauma protection for the wearer. The used material is temperature stable and will function normally in a wide range of climates.
To further increase the wearing comfort, the pads are manufactured with holes that increase the airflow and provide improved ventilation.
The elements are inserted into dedicated pockets in the sleeves. Thanks to their carefully designed shape and increased flexibility, they guarantee proper fitment and compatibility with a multitude of brands and shirt models.
The Delta Three Oscar products have been field-tested by soldiers in combat conditions, making them ideal for military and law enforcement applications.
