Our 14 and 10 gauge x 3.25″ TPAK chest decompression needles are a compact, reliable solution for treating a tension pneumothorax. Their shock resistant case ensures the needle/catheters are secure upon deployment, and the capless flash chamber gives instant confirmation of needle placement in pre-hospital needle thoracostomy. Our TPAKs come in a rugged case, with a textured, easy-open hex cap.

Product Description
The SAM IO Training Kits include components needed to simulate intraosseous access
with the SAM IO system. Every kit includes a nylon Training Case, Driver, three Training
Needles, Stabilizer, and Adaptor. Simulation Sawbones, including the proximal
humerus, proximal tibia, and distal tibia, are also available in the SAM IO Training Kits.
All included parts are for training purposes only.
SAM IO is a manually operated intraosseous access system. Catheter placement is
achieved by continuously actuating (repeatedly compressing) the driver’s trigger
assembly while gently guiding the needle assembly into position. Repeated, full
trigger actuation creates rotational spin of the needle assembly which, when
combined with gentle downward pressure, results in controlled IO placement. Once
needle assembly is properly positioned, the stylet is removed to expose standard
Luer-lock for extension set connection. With the extension set connected, aspiration
verification, flushing and selected treatment(s) may commence.

Packed with features such as 3 meters of gauze, a removable occlusive plastic sheet behind the trauma dressing pad, and a pressure bar that can also act as an eye cup, the advanced capabilities of the medical bandage are tucked neatly away and can be utilized if required or simply ignored.
